The International Association for Human Resource Information Management to Feature Research of Ascentis’ Bob Greene in Webinar on Coronavirus Pandemic’s Impact on HCM

MINNEAPOLIS – June 24, 2020 - Ascentis, a leading provider of cloud-based workforce management and human capital management technology solutions, is pleased to announce that Bob Greene, Senior Industry HR Analyst at Ascentis is set to present on the International Association for Human Resource Information Management (IHRIM) July 8 webinar.

IHRIM, a community for sharing expert knowledge that leverages HR systems, technologies, and analytics for business excellence, has chosen Bob Greene to be their July 8 webinar speaker. The webinar is titled on The Coronavirus Pandemic’s Impact on HCM – What We’ve Learned So Far from an article he previously wrote for IHRIM. Bob has been a contributing editor for IHRIM’s Workforce Solutions Review for the last 8 years and this year is the 2020 co-editor.

The webinar itself will focus on two aspects of that impact: the workplace changes that didn’t receive much “press coverage” but are of high interest to employers, and the changes that will be with us through at least year-end 2020, and therefore compose compliance and best practice “rules to live by.”

Also covered during the webinar:
  • The responsibilities of HR, Benefits and Payroll managers and directors in complying with the various Coronavirus-related laws that came into being over a 30-day period during March and April, with a focus on ongoing responsibilities through year-end 2020 and beyond.
  • How these compliance responsibilities place specific new burdens on Human Capital Management (“HCM”) software suites and how to solve for those novel requirements.
  • How HCM plays a key role in implementing the best practices our customers (CHROs, Payroll Managers, the C-Suite) must have to succeed in the post-pandemic workforce.
Thwebinar will be offered free to the public and will offer many different accreditation opportunities with HCRI, SHRM, and IHRIM HRIP credits. Register for IHRIM’s upcoming webinar, The Coronavirus Pandemic’s Impact on HCM – What We’ve Learned So Far here.
