Instructions for installing/upgrading HROffice Alerts
Note: These instructions need to done on the machine running HROffice Alerts.
Step 1: Download the HROffice Alerts Library Guide
Step 2: Confirm the version of HROffice Alerts you currently have installed. If you currently have HROffice Alerts 4.0 or earlier installed, please skip to Step 4.
Step 3: If you are currently running HROffice Alerts 4.1 you do not need to run the full HROffice Alerts Install, but rather update your system with the new W4 Not Complete.tsk and Old Picture.tsk files. Please right click on previous links and select "Save Target As..." to save the new files to your system. Once you have them saved to a readily accessible location on your system, import them into HROffice Alerts to update your system. If you encounter any problems updating these files please contact Ascentis Technical Support.
Step 4: Stop the HROffice Alerts Service if you have a previous version of HROffice Alerts installed.
Step 5: Download the HROffice Alerts install:
HROffice Alerts 4.1 (US and Canadian Version)
Step 6: Follow the instructions on the HROffice Alerts upgrade.
Step 7: Be sure to restart the HROffice Alerts Service.
Step 8: Users who have created custom Alerts may need to manually modify some of these Alerts after the upgrade. Due to database schema changes, some of the custom alerts may reference key values that have changed between versions.
