Use the “Messages and Reminders” section of My Company to post company-related information on specials events, the annual holiday party, summer BBQ’s, open enrollment reminders, new employee introductions, and other important company happenings.

My Company Links
My Company Links is a great place to include company-related links and documents so employees can answer their own commonly asked questions. Use My Company Links as an online resource for commonly asked employee questions. Post your company’s paid holiday schedule, blank expense report forms, the employee manual, recent PowerPoint organizational presentations, industry-related websites, and more.

Company Directory
Company Directory provides a dynamic and up-to-date online directory so employees and managers can easily put a name to a face. Each employee record can include employee detail, a picture of the specific employee, and the company organizational chart for each employee. The Company Directory always contains up-to-date information because it comes directly from the Ascentis HR database. Searches can be performed based on employee name, location, division, department, job title, or supervisor.

Innovative employee communication
The Ascentis HR Employee Correspondence Wizard (ECW) opens up lines of communication between HR and employees and facilitates simple yet efficient distribution of information. The ECW provides HR administrators with a tool to quickly and efficiently communicate with individuals or groups of employees via emails and letters in the form of a mail/e-mail process. All emails sent using the ECW are noted in an employee’s record. HR professionals can easily pull up a correspondence history on an employee and see when and what correspondence was sent as well as the subject and the included content. The ECW can log all written communication that takes place between HR and a specific employee no matter the subject and context.

Unique Password Management
Another unique communications feature of ESS is the innovative Verify Me technology. Verify Me eliminates the frustrations of password management for both HR administrators and employees. If an employee forgets his or her password or user ID, Verify Me will ask a series of authenticating identification questions that only the employee trying to log into ESS can answer. An email is automatically sent to the employee providing them with the necessary logon information.
